Karl had gotten to the bridge and had just stood there and watched people
come and go, he could see the colonel getting more and more pissed off at
the number of people who had come to him...maybe that's what the gathering
is fot tonight he told himself. He decided to return to his quarters till
the time of the party. As he was leaving the bridge he heard Thuraya say:

Karl decided he was doing the right thing, and any how he was slightly
overdressed for such a caasual party. He turned on his heels an returned to
his quarters. Walking past the mirror, he couldn't help but admire his own
reflection, god he was attractive if he did say so himself. He decided to
take another shower. He stripped off his uniform and stepped into the
cubical. Washing the sweat and the grime away, cleansing his body and
making him smell extra sweet for the party tonight, there were bound to bea
few women on the ship..he tried to convince himself.
He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around him...and another
around his head to dry his hair. Karl was used to doing this, coming from
earth he was raised by his mom after his dad had died and he'd 3 sisters, so
getting a bathroom to himself was like pure luxury. He had to admit he did
miss his mom and sisters though, she worried about him all the time, always
saying he didn't visit enough..jeez he had told himself..women!
Picking out some suitable clothing from his wardrobe, some cream trousers
and a blue shirt, Karl decided to get ready. He put on his clothes and
looked around the room for his shoes. He sprayed himself from top to toe
with the latest cologne from earth and looked in the mirror to adjust his
hair, about 4 times! You're not vain he kept telling himself, just
perfect!!!
Karl waited till the time of the party and left his quarters to go discover
some fun
