Subject: Mission Zero: Post 10
Off: I am going to work around this one but please be aware of other
posts before you do yours, just in case a character wasn't already
doing something else.

::Earlier that day::
Colonel Thuraya had been speaking to his helmsman, double checking
with him about the Galactic Drive. Making sure he knew NOT to
activate it. Gelleret didn't want to end up millions of lightyears
away and not have a way to get back. Just then someone spoke behind
him.
"Colonel," Asad said coming to complete attention and giving a very
proper
salute. "Plans for the welcome party are completed, Sir. All seems to
be
functioning adequately."
"Very well captian," stated Thuraya. "You can take your post as soon
as you would like. Welcome aboard."
Having made his report, Asad went directly to his station hoping to
catch
glimpses of some of the other arrivals.
"Colonel," he said to his captain, "did you know this ship can make
chairs
out of walls or do I need to report to sickbay?"
"No no," the colonel laughed. "That's one of the features of the
ship. You might find many strang things about this ship if you keep
looking for them."
Just then, the turbo lift doors opened up... again.
"How can I help you marine," stated Thuraya when he noticed the major
walk
on the bridge.
"I'm Major Jackson Porter, you're Wing CO, sir," he responded.
"Glad to have you on board major..."
Off: And you know what happens from there. This is to be taken as an
old post, taking place prior to Porter's entrance in case there was
any confusion.
