Subject: Mission Zero Post #12
Off: I know that all of you are fresh faces to me but one thing I want everyone to know is that one of my pet peeves is time line issues. I am going to try to work around this one again but lets try to read the other posts to see what other people are already engaged in before you jump in. Also, there is no need to directly report in to me. That is what the "get together" will be for.

Thuraya's door chimed to his ready room once again. Marines kept reporting in to him left and right. He was glad that they wanted to make a good first impression, but the crew was already hand picked by him anyway, he knew everyone's backgrounds. He would have to make an announcement later and just have an all hands assembly in the ten forward lounge so everyone can introduce themselves informaly.
"Come in," Thuraya said.
Just as Gellert had expected, the marine came up six inches away and centered on his desk and began his report.
"1st Lt. Hunter Brooks reporting as order, sir," the pilot said. "Sorry it took so long. I was admiring my fighter."
"Enter Lt. Have a seat," replied the colonel.
"Thank you sir," Brooks said as he sat down. "I'm glad to be on board."
"Have you had a chance to look around besides the fighters," Thuraya asked.
"Not yet sir," Hunter replied. "But I hope I can after I have spoken with you."
"Good to hear. I would suggest reporting in to Major Porter soon. He is your wing commanding officer," the colonel said.
"Will do sir. I appreciate you speaking with me," the pilot smiled as he stood up. "Is there anything else colonel?"
"Negative lieutenant. You are dismissed."
"Aye sir," Hunter said as he saluted and executed an about face to exit the ready room.
Off: Can I get an email from everyone with a time you can be available for group chats? Maybe we can get together once a month to discuss mission details or perhaps have a live sim. Just for a little troop morale. Send it to my personal email account. Crummydo@msn.com
